October 2012 ~ Candy ~ 12 yr old dachshund Rescued from West Valley Shelter in CA. Bella’s Fund agreed to cover her dental and she was pulled from the West Valley shelter in CA on Tuesday. Unfortunately, being a senior at 12 yr old, she has some other health problems that need to be addressed. She has a very bloated abdomen, extreme thirst, freq urination….. Vet suspects Cushings but also needs to rule out other things and the best way to do this is by ultrasound. We will be doing another fundraiser to help raise funds for her medical needs.. Wanda with Wanda’s Little Rescues in NC will be taking her in as soon as we have her healthy enough for airplane travel.
UPDATE: 10/27/12 – I flew with Candy to NC over the weekend. She is now with Wanda and will be getting all the medical care she needs.. Will be addressing the Cushings ASAP.
Candy will be a forever foster with Wanda.
