January 2013 ~ Payne was left at a shelter in Rome, GA with this huge hernia, his intestines had fallen into it.. Rescued by ARF and they were trying to raise the funds for his hernia via Chipin. I wanted this poor thing to be taken care of ASAP so I contacted Greta with the rescue to find out how much more was needed for him to be able to go ahead with surgery. Thankfully, Bella’s Fund had enough funds to cover the balance. We made the donation to the vet and he had his surgery that day!!

UPDATE: Payne has had his surgery and recovering in his foster home.. Unfortunately he tested positive for HW so he will also need to undergo treatment for that soon..

UPDATE: via ARF – Animal Rescue Foundation of Rome/Floyd Co. GA I have amazing news to report! Payne’s foster mom has fallen hopelessly in love and has decided to become his real mom! PAYNE HAS A FOREVER HOME!
